Maka is one of the main Cures of the fan sequel, Heartcatch Pretty Cure! Cosmic. Her alter ego is Cure Cosmo (キュアコスモ Kyua Kosumo?), and her mascot is Linen.
Personality[]
Unlike her opposite, Kurumi Erika, Maka is unruffled and attentive. Her favorite activities to do is to view the ocean and walk at the beach, as they fit into sea-theme events. She is also analogous of drinking milkshakes, and cleaning-up the house when her parents are not around. To the team's reactions, Maka is a slow learner, in order to focus on attention, and a tranquil-spirited girl who keeps sight of the defense. She is at least the most gullible of the team.

Etymology[]
Haruzora (春空?)-"Haru" (春) defines to be "spring"; "zora" (空) is a modification of "sora", meaning "sky" in Japanese language. They are blended as "spring sky".
Maka (まか?)-Maka should be divided into two meanings. It could be the kanji, 真花, meaning "true flower". If this is the case, then her name might represent this Pretty Cure season.
They are together known as "spring-sky true flower".
Cure Cosmo derives from a type of flower. Because she is titled as the Flower of the Breeze, it symbolizes "tranquility and peace", as of her personality.
